The 2025 "Embrace China·Chinese Roots Seeking Journey" Summer Camp — including the Charm of Lingnan: Smart Innovation Tech Camp and Charm of Lingnan: Encountering the Lion Dance Camp — will officially open at 9:30 a.m. on July 10 at the Sports Hall of the College of Chinese Language and Culture, Jinan University.

This year's camp has attracted nearly 120 young participants of Chinese descent from countries and regions including France, Hungary, Fiji, the UK, Thailand, the US, Portugal, Spain, Canada, Hong Kong, Russia, and Switzerland. Over the course of several days, they will engage in immersive experiences that blend Lingnan cultural heritage with the technological innovation of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The Smart Innovation Tech Camp focuses on creative interactions with intangible cultural heritage such as Cantonese opera, dragon boat traditions, and olive pit carving, while introducing participants to cutting-edge technologies and elements of the upcoming 15th National Games. Meanwhile, the Encountering the Lion Dance Camp centers on traditional practices like lion and dragon dances and pottery making, offering a platform for cross-cultural youth exchange and exploring how technology can help revitalize traditional culture.

近120名海外华裔及港澳青少年齐聚广州，开启“寻根之旅”

2025“亲情中华·中国寻根之旅”夏令营（风韵南粤智创科技营、风韵南粤遇见醒狮主题营）将于7月10日上午9:30在暨南大学华文学院体育馆正式开营。

本次夏令营吸引了来自法国、匈牙利、斐济、英国、泰国、美国、葡萄牙、西班牙、加拿大、香港、俄罗斯、瑞士等国家和地区的近120名海外华裔及港澳青少年参加。营员们将在为期多天的行程中，沉浸式体验岭南文化与大湾区科技融合的独特魅力。

“智创科技营”以粤剧、龙舟、榄雕等岭南非遗文化的创新体验为核心，同时融合全运元素和前沿科技；“遇见醒狮主题营”则围绕醒狮、舞龙、陶艺等传统技艺，开展中外青少年互动交流，并探索科技赋能传统文化的新形式。

本次活动由中国侨联主办，广东省侨联承办，暨南大学华文学院、广东粤剧院、禅武国际联盟总会（匈牙利）广东办事处、广东交通职业技术学院等协办。
